What a fantastic roadside quasi food truck/covered dining area. Service was awesome, food as good as any version of it mom ever cooked (I got the Poutine, fries with gravy and added grilled chicken. I live in and grew up in South Louisiana). Quite a few other menu items available. We were staying in Morgan and stopped in to grab something to bring back to our place for the night. Well worth it. Did I mention they had a Rock’em Sock’em Robots game on a table you can play? Not saying I did. FYI, I always choose the blue guy. Definitely recommend if you find yourself in the area.

As someone who has been traveling around the state of Vermont looking for the best burgers, the state has to offer this hidden gem in the northeast kingdom of Vermont tucked away in Derby just might be the hidden gem of all burger places. Neat atmosphere, but we’re not here for the atmosphere. We are here for the burgers. I picked up the O burger. The patties were smashed just right. Well seasoned the cheese was drippy. The barbecue sauce was lathered. The fried onion rings were done up nicely and when it says thick cut bacon, they mean thick cut bacon. The bun was soft, and the burger was so big. I could barely bite my mouth around it.. hand cut french fries always in A+ that were well seasoned could be a little more crispy, but that’s OK. The tin shed, which was suggested from a Reddit user is obviously has gained traction in the burger community. This burger will easily rank within the top 10 burgers in the state if interested in where this burger lands on my ranking check out review time with Tim at YouTube or Google burgers of Vermont for the complete playlist.

Had the humpty dumpty, 1 of my top ten picks, and as usual it was cooked to perfection. When I asked for dessert he said sure and handed me his newest creation, a dirty soda, i know a strange name but it was fantastic

A wonderful outdoor setting, chill music, and amazing food. Smash burgers with a twist! The menu is filled with specialty burgers that you can’t help but eat the minute you get the box. The lemonade is country fair style and amazing. My wife got the Waldorf chicken sandwich and I got a Texan burger.

The food is amazing, Ive had the smash burgers, the Rueben and today the chicken sandwich called the BCR, all very hearty and yummy meals for the cooler temps!!! I have noticed, Mr, David Sumner, the owner, likes to add sarcasm but it enhances the food industries mystique in the North East Kingdom. Over all, I rate the food a 9 out of 10 ********* stars! I’m a native New Yorker with close ties to the Vermont Quebec border for a lifetime, along with an international traveler, my palette is quite eclectic and sophisticated having had exposure to all kinds of restaurants & cuisines. Bravo to the tin shed grill!!!

I was in the area for the weekend, and I wanted to check this place out due to the great Google reviews. It was fabulous! So great, it fact, that i went back to try another burger before I left. The place is literally a tin shack with some covered picnic benches. The owner seems like a down to earth guy who cares about making good burgers, and he does! These burgers will rival any gourmet burger you will get from a fancy restaurant. Check it out for sure. You won't regret it!

This was a great dining experience for myself and hubby! We live diagonally across the street from this unique little place, which has recently expanded! Hand cut French fries are always a treat, and my husband enjoyed (immensely!) their signature brisket sandwich with fries. He could not stop talking about how delicious it was the whole time he was enjoying it! I, on the other hand, am vegan. So I ordered fries, fried pickles, and a vegan chicken patty on a roll. Delicious! The atmosphere is casual, friendly, and has an open air feel while being in a semi enclosed space, with booths inside and picnic tables outside. You have the option of eating there, or getting your order to go, which is what we did since we basically live across the street. Pricing is moderate, and serving sizes are more than ample. I wish this newly expanded, small, local business all the best in the days and years ahead! What a welcome addition to the little community of Derby! Oh...did I forget to mention the make fresh sugar and cinnamon mini donuts every day at 7:00am! They were such a treat!
